Strategy, Alignment & Deployment

This workshop provides leaders with detailed knowledge of strategy alignment and deployment (SA&D) through the use of lectures and discussions. Participants learn methodologies for building a strategy map, developing a governance plan to oversee the execution of the strategy, and how to communicate the plan throughout the organization. Participants can utilize existing organizational mission, vision and values as a jumping off point to create the map to set priorities and objectives that achieve success.

Faculty

James Cody—director of the Graduate & Executive Education's Aerospace & Defense Executive Programs. James has worked in strategic planning across “total force” needs of the U.S. Department of Defense and has significant experience working with the aerospace and defense industry.

James is a retired US Air Force colonel with 25 years of service. James holds 4 masters degrees that include an MBA from the University of Tennessee, a MMAS from the School of Advanced Operational Art Studies, a MAAS from the School of Advanced Airpower Studies and a MAS from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
